Can you believe that I could give birth in 3 or 4 weeks? The idea of a baby coming out of my you know what is still very surreal for me. I think I'll cry like a baby when I see her for the first time. It's not just a baby; it's a tiny human being with her own looks, taste and virtues...
How far along? 34 WEEKS!!!
Baby is the size of a cantaloupe!
What's new for baby?
Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (about the size of a cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies. (BabyCenter)Total weight gain/measurements: 15 pounds still! Let's see what the future holds...
Maternity clothes: 3 dresses, 1 pair of shorts and one top. I do not really need much, and I feel like the end is near.
Sleep: I never get enough!
Best moment this week: Cuddling with Jay in bed. Just us. Aw
Movement: Yes, specially when I'm eating or trying to sleep.
Food cravings: Ice chips, strawberry Nesquik, soy milk, fruits in general...
Symptoms: Contractions, tiredness, pelvic pressure, leg cramps, colostrum...
Belly button in or out? In. I do not think it will ever be out.
Wedding rings on or off? On, my fingers are still the same. Yay! :)
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy. The weeks are getting shorter and shorter.
Looking forward to: Pack the hospital bag! and get everything clean and nice...
Stretch marks? None -yet-! I keep using oils and lots of lotion several times during the day. So far so good.
Here is the bump for 34 weeks...
