26 weeks #Bumpdate (6.5 months and 10 pounds later!)

How far along? 26 weeks and 5 days!

Baby is the size of a lettuce (14.5 inches, 2lbs)

What's new for baby?
"She's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing her eyes, and perhaps even sucking her fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While her lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if she were to be born now. ." -Text from babycenter.com

Total weight gain/measurements: 10 lbs in total... Help, somebody help me! It was a bit of a shock seeing it on the scale.

Maternity clothes: It's more like a mix and match. I am still wearing most of my regular clothes.

Sleep: I need to change my position every 30 minutes because my back starts to hurt.

Best moment this week:  I adore waking up next to hubby and seeing his hand on my belly...

Movement: Yes ;) I love it.

Food cravings: Ice, lots of ice.

Anything making you queasy or sick? just strong coffee smell.

Gender: Baby Girl!

Symptoms: Lots of backaches and tiredness...

Belly button in or out? In. I do not think it will ever be out.

Wedding rings on or off? On, my fingers are still the same. Yay! :)

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, I am excited to meet this tiny human.

Looking forward to: third trimester.

Stretch marks? Not yet! We'll see, I do not want to be extra positive. I added Honest Co. Organic Oil to my beauty routine. I use it after I shower in my belly, breasts, hips and tights.

This is how a 25 weeks pregnant belly looks like.... #Bumpdate

How far along? 25 weeks! Only 15 weeks left.
Picture from Webmd

Baby is the size of a rutabaga (13.5 inches, 1.5-2.2lbs)

What's new for baby?
"she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture." -Text from babycenter.com

Total weight gain/measurements: 8 lbs in total... I guess this is healthy, right?

Maternity clothes: It's more like a mix and match. I am still wearing most of my regular clothes.

Sleep: I need to change my position every 30 minutes because my back starts to hurt, but this is something I can do without having to really 'wake up'.

Best moment this week:  Our lazy sunday: I spent it with my husband and our baby; we saw movies, ate fruits and ice cream, talked, listened to music and felt the baby kicks through all the day. It was simply perfect.

Movement: Yes ;) I love it.

Food cravings: Ice and juicy fruits. Basically anything cold and watery.

Anything making you queasy or sick? just strong coffee smell.

Gender: Baby Girl!

Symptoms: Lots of backaches and pressure in my lower abdomen, ouch! I think it could be Braxton Hicks. In the mid-time, I tell myself those are like training sessions for the big day.

Belly button in or out? In. I do not think it will ever be out.

Wedding rings on or off? On, my fingers are still the same. Yay! :)

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy but a total softie: whenever my husband does something sweet I start crying out of happiness.

Looking forward to: this week's appointment and prepare our nursery room.

Stretch marks? Not yet! We'll see. I added Honest Co. Organic Oil to my beauty routine. I use it after I shower in my belly, breasts, hips and tights.

Week 24 #Bumpdate (Six months)

First of all, sorry for missing one week but I have an excuse (other than my pregnancy): My family came to visit us from Costa Rica; so all these days we were very busy trying to spend as much time together as possible. Okay, here we go...

How far along? 24 weeks!

Baby is the size of a cantaloupe (10.5-11.8 inches)

What's new for baby?
  • Her see-through skin is gradually becoming more opaque.
  • And it's got a new pink glow, thanks to the small capillaries that have recently formed.
Total weight gain/measurements: 7 lbs in total... These past two weeks I ate without restrictions and I honestly thought I'd gain lots of weight but I did not! I just gained 1 pound more -yay!-

Maternity clothes: Summer dresses and maternity shorts are must for this summer.

Sleep: It's all good. I feel #BabyCordaway moving but it does not bother me -yet-.

Best moment this week:  Seeing my family! Friends and family brought us lots of presents. We are very thankful that they thought of us and it made us feel even more excited about welcoming our little lady in this mad world.  It was like having a surprise baby shower!

Movement: Yes ;) I love it.

Food cravings: Ice ice baby! I find myself chomping on ice.

Anything making you queasy or sick? just coffee

Gender: Baby Girl!

Symptoms: Backaches but they go away as soon as I take a hot shower/bath and lay down

Belly button in or out? In. I do not think it will ever be out.

Wedding rings on or off? On, my fingers are still the same. Yay! :)

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy

Looking forward to: Glucose test? hmm, not really but I am kind of curious.

Stretch marks? Not yet! We'll see. I added Honest Co. Organic Oil to my beauty routine. I use it after I shower in my belly, breasts, hips and tights.

We got #BabyCordaway her first plush bunny!

Thank you to all of you that sent us your love.
